Senior Account Executive

JOB SUMMARY:  We are looking for an Account Executive to join our team. Our Account Executives are responsible for driving advertising revenue through direct sales by prospecting and developing new opportunities.  Additionally, the Account Executive will be focused on renewing & growing revenue strategically, with existing partners in a USA National capacity.

Principal Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Daily sales activities; Aggressively prospecting & pitching our performance marketing/customer acquisition solutions, resulting in meeting and exceeding quarterly sales quota.
  • Conducting consultative and strategic sales by educating direct advertisers and performance-focused agency partners on market trends and advertising strategies to further position our company as a leader in the space.
  • Owning and driving relationships forward; both new & existing, to drive revenue growth.
  • Identifying opportunities and make proactive recommendations to drive revenue growth outside of evergreen campaigns running day-to-day.
  • Collaboration with the media team to answer all client questions in order to help secure publisher commitments.
  • Continual self-education on industry news, trends and brands within the digital performance marketing landscape.
  • Documenting prospecting efforts and revenue forecasts in Salesforce to keep the organization and senior management informed of all account activity.
  • Participating in the development of long-term growth strategy for accounts.

Specialized Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledgeable and passionate about digital media, affiliate marketing, and the performance marketing ecosystem specifically
  • Self-starter and natural leader with a strong desire to win and grow personally and professionally.
  • Creative thinker and strategic seller who can communicate complex solutions efficiently both internally and externally.
  • A proven track record of exceeding goals, relationship building, and customer retention with direct advertisers and their agencies
  • Analytical ability and experience adhering to a sales process.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.

Education/Experience

  • BS/BA degree or equivalent training and experience.
  • At least 3 years of digital advertising sales experience.
  • Existing industry relationships with clients and agencies.

Work Environment/Mental/Physical RequirementsHigh stress office environment with deadline pressures.  Position will require day-to-day multi-tasking, and well as managing multiple projects simultaneously with frequent change in direction and priority.
