Account Executive

BASIC PURPOSE

As an Account Executive, you will serve as the primary liaison between the potential client(s) serviced and the company, recognizing opportunities and turning leads into long-lasting partnerships. The role primarily services clients in the consumer financial service industries.  You will be working to build and maintain relationships with clients that lead to increased business opportunity, and you will communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services lines that maximize value. You should be an adaptable, knowledgeable multi-tasker with strong computer and communication skills. With this role you’ll be collaborating with multiple departments and tools to provide the best information to the client and foster the business relationship with them. Must have ability to make sense of detailed information and translate it into a general understanding and apply this information to your client outreach and management. Must have the drive and energy to manage multiple accounts while looking for new opportunities.

 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Must have strong customer service, sales and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must have solid verbal and written communication skills
  • Must be a critical thinker, able to problem solve.
  • Must be comfortable with client outreach, cold calls, etc.
  • Previous experience in sales/account management
  • Knowledge of online marketing best practices, lead generation, or affiliate marketing
  • Daily communication with clients, including C-level executives about their campaigns
  • Evaluating existing client setups, and finding new business opportunities within them

 

EDUCATION

Associate or Bachelor’s Degree (Marketing or Business Preferred)

EXPERIENCE AND REQUIREMENTS

2-3 years’ experience in marketing

3 years’ sales experience

Excellent communication skills – both written and verbal

Strong work ethic

Proficient in MS Office and CRM software

Must work well and get along with others

Strong team communication skills
