Advertiser Account Manager

The Advertiser Account Management role  is a balance of account management, cross functional advertising expertise, and analysis to drive increasing results. The perfect individual for this role is a motivated and outgoing self started who takes a proactive approach to their work and is always looking out for the best interest of their clients.

This role is essential to COMPANY CONFIDENTIAL and you will be communicating with various internal team members and external partners to ensure growth with our ad partners. From compiling data based insights to drive increasing client performance, to solving abstract business challenges, this role is at the forefront of the COMPANY CONFIDENTIAL product/service offerings. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
As an Advertiser Account Manager at COMPANY CONFIDENTIAL, technical ability and industry knowledge play a large role in day to day responsibilities. In the role you will be accountable for, but not limited to, the following:
Communication
• Build strategic relationships with our ad partners, while acting as the day-to-day point of contact for existing and new business
• Clear communication to external or internal partners, adapting communication style as appropriate to influence positive outcomes
• Innovation
• Strategize with ad partners in pre, current, and post sales period to grow and develop existing business and win new net business that delivers superior outcomes for our partners
• Act with analysis and curiosity to find ways to improve existing ad campaigns
Delivery
• Deliver relevant reporting to ad partners that focus on analyzing and solving their challenges by turning data points/patters into actionable insight recommendations that ultimately drives additional ROI for our partners and thus new net business for the company
• Accomplish tasks on time and to a high quality, managing different deadlines and priorities
• Exercise judgement in selecting ad campaigns based on performance and current needs of our network
• Negotiate better advertising rates as appropriate
Outreach
• Build strategic partnerships with relevant ad partners
• Understand the competition and how we can deliver better results to similar ad partners
Innovation
• Strategize with Sales Leads in pre-sale periods to grow and develop existing client business and win net new business
• Acting with curiosity to find new ways of working or improvements, open to trying things out.

Desired Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years of advertising technology, performance advertising, and/or branded advertising experience
• Experience with Rewarded Advertising is highly preferred
• Experience with performance based ads and/or branded advertising and/or market research is highly preferred.
• Adept understanding of the advertising industry at large and ability to convey that knowledge to others
• Competitive ‘winning’ mentality
• Involvement in a high energy work environment with ability to deliver on tight deadlines
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with internal/external team members
• Ability to take abstract ideas and translate them into actionable solutions
• Detail-oriented with an ability to prioritize projects/tasks simultaneously and to completion
• Eager to learn new systems, technologies, and advertising techniques
• A can-do attitude to provide energy, drive and enthusiasm
