DIRECTOR OF DIGITAL MARKETING

We are looking for an experienced, ambitious, and entrepreneurial individual with 5+ years’ experience to oversee our Mortgage vertical. This is a full-time position in our Los Angeles (El Segundo) office. You must be a multi-talented and multi-faceted individual to handle responsibilities ranging from managing the day to day media campaigns to dealing with on-boarding of new clients to assisting the EVP in new business development. The core function of the position will be to continue the initial success of this vertical over the past year and push to multiples of 2x and 3x in the next 12 months.

Overall Responsibilities

  • Work arm and arm with the EVP Mortgage to drive the bottom line of this division
  • Proactively and aggressively explore additional monetization paths within Mortgage
  • Proactively explore to expand to new lead generation verticals
  • Build and maintain strong partner/client relationships
  • Become an expert in the Mortgage lead generation vertical

Daily Responsibilities

  • Plan, manage, and execute digital media campaigns to drive traffic each day
  • Measure and analyze performance on a daily basis
  • Optimize bids, dayparts, filters, etc. of the active media to ensure our goals are met and/or exceeded
  • Develop and analyze reports, including projections, and provide analysis of KPIs and trends
  • Conceive and oversee implementation of A/B tests both on our sites and within partners’ UIs
  • Manage multiple client and partner relationships on a day to day basis
  • Oversee client on-boarding/API integration projects
  • Work with internal resources to insure projects are done on time and correctly
  • Conduct industry research and stay abreast of market trends
  • Attend meetings and conferences to expand knowledge and business network

Qualifications:

  • 2-3 years of related work in digital marketing and media on the account and/or media side (lead gen / direct response experience a huge plus)
  • Hands on experience required – must have decent knowledge of how digital direct response campaigns are implemented and managed on a daily basis
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong quantitative and problem-solving skills and a knack for understanding multiple interacting metrics
  • Attention to detail and ability to prioritize when faced with multiple tasks
  • Strong working knowledge of Excel
  • Adaptable and resourceful self-starter who can dive into a project without constant direction or oversight
  • Knowledge of the online mortgage space a huge plus

Education:

  • BS / BA Degree from a 4 year university in Marketing, Business, Economics, Mathematics, or Statistics preferred
