We are expanding and we are seeking a ROCKSTAR for our in-house DIGITAL MEDIA BUYER! Do you think you have what it takes to handle HUGE budgets? Well…. we are in search of a top online media buyer to manage our internal day to day online media budgets across Search, Display/Native, Social and email and we want to know if you have what it takes to be this ROCKSTAR!

This Media buyer role will be responsible for all day to day campaign research, set up, launch, optimizing and managing each campaign to a profitability for our mid six figure online media spend.

This is a fast-paced job involving buying media for our internally owned and operated brands in the ecommerce/direct response and Lead gen properties. You’ve got to be able to work closely day today with a small team and have amazing organizational skills. The job requires knowledge of all costs, fees, formats and other variables related to online media buying and ongoing attention to new opportunities to find growth and profitability.

You have to have a thorough knowledge of the online media landscape and Web technologies and the ability to work with ad buying and tracking software, online tracking and monitoring tools like Marin Software, HasOffers, Infusionsoft CRM or have knowledge with similar systems. Your ability to show us your proficient across Search, Display/Native, Social is a must and if you know email and Video as well as other media traffic opportunities.

Desired Skills & Experience


• Implement online/interactive media plans to meet strategic goals.

• Negotiate with /interactive/web properties to ensure the most cost-effective buys and most efficient placements.

• Set up and manage Display/ Native media buys on networks.

• Set up and manage Facebook and the social media campaigns.

• Set up and manage Google, Bing and other PPC search platforms.

• Experience with Marin PPC software a plus.

• Optimize and manage all media spends to a  target CPA

• Funnel testing and optimization.

• Report daily/weekly to managing partners the spend and roll out strategies for growth.

• Maintain digital records of all online advertising and marketing contracts for assigned clients.

• Track and compile statistics for evaluation of online campaigns; recommend strategy changes and revisions based on data.

• Research and compile statistics on reach, frequency, CPMs, cost-per- click, CTRs, unique users, page views, conversion, cost-per- action and cost-per- sale data for personal reference and to educate client service team members and clients.

• Expand and manage partnership relationships in the digital media space.

• Build a network of online media contacts to utilize as information and research resources.

• Advise when new online advertising opportunities arise.

• Maintain online media buying and tracking systems and software.


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:

• 3+ years of interactive media buying experience

• 3+ years of interactive marketing concepts and practices

• 3+ years of marketing and digital analytics experience

• 3+ years of google and bing PPC media

• 3+ years of Facebook and Social media placement

• Understanding of programatic and retargeting systems and how to apply

• Excellent skills in written and verbal negotiation and communication

• Experience analyzing complex data and doing market research

• Ability to formulate actionable plans

• Knowledge of ad server and affiliate management platform preferred

• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including pivot tables, would be pretty desired

• Strong quantitative/analytical skills

• Strong time management, organizational and problem solving skills

• Strong interpersonal and presentation skills; team oriented and proactive

• Ability to work independently without close supervision

• Ability to set meeting set meeting agendas and communicate meeting outcomes and goals

• Professional attitude and appearance, self-motivation, and dedication

• Google Adwords Certified and Marin software A HUGE PLUS

• Self-starter with excellent interpersonal skills; great attitude and go-getter spirit are a plus

Los Angeles, CA or remote for the right candidate.

Candidate can work remotely but prefer Los Angeles or WestCoast but based on qualifications.

Comp is base plus bonus and could have huge income potential.
