What You’ll Do
As the Vice President, Email Marketing, reporting to the CEO, you have a love of technology, efficient operations, and use the former to improve the latter.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Ultimately, you are the executive responsible for managing the strategy and operations of a high-volume email marking business
• Build out, develop & manage a team of operations analysts and associates, including contractors and offshore resources, to assure that our daily mail operations run effectively, efficiently and economically
• Represent Email Marketing Business line at Board Meetings and executive team meetings
• Analyze or work in collaboration with our analytics team to identify opportunities for both incremental and major improvements in process
• Work with our engineering team to implement improvements and identify systemic issues that are causing issues with our ad delivery platform
• Monitor, assign and/or solving problems during off-business hours
• Lead interaction with advertising networks and direct advertisers to find best fit demand inventory to fill our supply inventory
• Work with our data partners and business development team to improve audience

Desired Skills & Experience

• 5+ years’ experience at Director-level or above of high-volume email marketing business
• Four-year college degree
• Excellent communication skills
• Superlative time management skills and the ability to adapt to a changing schedule
•  Track record in managing mangers and building teams
• Understanding of Internet technology and terminology: Domains, IPs, DNS, mail and web servers
• Familiarity with digital marketing terminology, funnel metrics and KPIs
• Experience in working with remote teams, including offshore teams, is a plus
• Candidates located in Boston or Eastern Massachusetts are preferred, but not it is not a requirement
